A very nice later issue paperback edition/copy of an uncommon and sought after early Dick Francis title and novel.
Even with an increased initial print run, still a difficult title to find in hardback 1st edn. Uncommon in it's first and second paperback appearance.
Story revolving around the international transport of racehorses and breeding stock, drawing on Dick Francis's R.A.F experiences and his wife Mary's,after she took flying lessons, eventually gaining her pilot's licence, buying her own 'plane,a Piper Cherokee, and both of them flying on a horse transporter to Italy.
